Delivery withdrawal and refunds
Read the French reference version
Prepared edition: 4 October 2026 Edition: 2026-10-04.3 English translation of the French reference version
French reference version. The English and Spanish versions are translations of the French document intended to make it easier to understand. In the event of a discrepancy, contradiction, ambiguity or difficulty of interpretation between the language versions, the French version shall prevail to the extent permitted by law. This priority does not restrict any mandatory right, including consumer protections, the requirement to provide clear and comprehensible information, and rules requiring doubts to be interpreted in the consumer's favour. It does not change the specific terms expressly accepted for an order.
1. Scope and contact
This policy supplements the accepted order and terms of SASU Alpha Inova, inovaspaces brand, share capital EUR 1,000, Rouen Trade and Companies Register number 914 975 735, 72 rue de la République, 76140 Le Petit-Quevilly, France. Contact: contact@inovaspaces.com or a ticket in the client account, with the reference. It does not restrict mandatory rights or the rules of the merchant of record identified at checkout.
2. Ready-made packages
Electronic supply follows confirmed payment. The studio does not offer a voluntary refund for a simple change of mind after lawful digital supply begins. The exception in Article L221-28(13) requires, before supply, express consent to commencement before the end of the 14 days, acknowledgement of loss of the withdrawal right and confirmation on a durable medium. Accepting general terms, checking a preselected box or displaying “all digital products are non-refundable” is insufficient. Applicable rights remain if the conditions are not met. The two acknowledgements are collected separately from general acceptance, retaining wording, version, date and association with the order. Confirmation reproduces the commitments and consents in a form that can be saved. Where a separate merchant of record makes the sale, its procedure and terms also apply.
3. Custom orders
A quotation order may combine creative services and supply of files. Paying or providing photographs does not automatically remove withdrawal. If the consumer expressly requests early commencement and then withdraws before completion, a proportionate amount for the service actually performed may be due, subject to prior information and law. The paid-service exception in Article L221-28(1) requires full performance, prior express agreement and acknowledgement of loss of the right at that completion. Separate early digital supply falls under paragraph 13. The actual classification and stage of the contract are assessed.
4. Exercising an applicable withdrawal right
The ordinary period for an eligible distance contract is 14 days from its conclusion, subject to a statutory extension for missing information. An unambiguous declaration may be sent by email to contact@inovaspaces.com, by post to the registered office or by support message identifying the order. The model below is optional; no reason is required. A statutory refund is made within the applicable period, normally no later than 14 days after notification, by the original method unless another method is lawfully agreed, without a refund fee. Proportionate remuneration for a service is assessed separately.
5. Non-delivery and defects
Report missing, inaccessible, corrupted files or files materially different from the accepted description. The studio investigates the cause and supplies or corrects without extra charge or unjustified delay where required. Price reduction, termination and refund remain possible in statutory cases. Duplicate charges, unauthorised transactions and disputes follow payment rules. Technical expiry of a link does not remove a guarantee.
6. Merchant of record and payment provider
If checkout identifies Stripe Managed Payments as merchant of record, its refund rules apply and may allow a refund despite a more restrictive studio policy, including its announced discretion to refund within 60 days. The studio cannot remove that discretion. For ordinary Stripe payment, the studio remains responsible for performance and contractual complaints.
7. Delivery and deadlines
A ready-made package is normally downloadable for 30 days from confirmed payment and availability. A quotation production remains in progress until the studio manually confirms delivery; its 30-day window starts then. The notification directs the customer to their authenticated account. The precise deadline is shown in the order; an express extension may change it. Resending confirmation does not renew the period. Keep a local copy and promptly report access problems. Permanent backup is not included. A subjective preference alone does not constitute a defect in a package meeting the description, without restricting remedies for an actual defect.
8. Professionals
An online professional purchase does not normally benefit from consumer withdrawal. Particular protections, including for certain off-premises contracts of small businesses, remain if their conditions are met. No voluntary change-of-mind refund is promised after agreed supply or commencement; non-delivery, contract and law remain applicable.
9. Optional model
To SASU Alpha Inova, 72 rue de la République, 76140 Le Petit-Quevilly, France; contact@inovaspaces.com. I notify you of my withdrawal from the contract relating to: [service or content]. Reference: [reference]. Contract concluded on: [date]. Consumer's name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date]. Signature only if sent on paper.
10. Legal references
French Consumer Code: L221-18, L221-13, L221-21, D221-5, L221-24, L221-25, L221-28 paragraphs 1 and 13, L224-25-12 and following. Current texts: https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/codes/id/LEGITEXT000006069565/. Mandatory provisions prevail.
11. International transactions and handling requests
Choosing French law does not remove mandatory protections applicable to the international transaction. The French digital-content exception is not an unconditional worldwide rule. The studio examines the actual production or supply stage and evidence of consent, and explains a refusal or proportionate amount. A request does not automatically establish a right to a refund.
